Fear Itself

Been focusing on that grind lately, and I decided to take things even further by introducing my take on Scarecrow into my art series directly based on the Batman mythos.
Really took my time to dive into what I think works best for a serial-killer/horror-slasher design for Dr. Jonathan Crane, who, in this alternate world, towers over his peers in terms of height and intellect. He not only gases his victims prior to taking their lives, but he also dives into their fears by plugging himself into their nightmare via custom-built paraphernalia. His mask also doubles as a way for him to breathe in his own fear toxin.
This version of Scarecrow enjoys inflicting terror and experiencing the horrors of his targets in a shared reality, quite similar to the film Inception... altho in pure nightmare-fuel fashion. Special thanks to my brother (Rienque LeVerite) for assisting me with conceptualizing this aspect of Crane's psyche.
Anyway, I do hope you all appreciate how I've depicted him and a distorted version of my interpretation of Batman! Who knows? Maybe I'll make more Scarecrow art in the future. Hehehe. Cheers!
God bless!!!
